Happy 9th Birthday, Tess Bess! --December 2015

Anna and Tessa: Disney on Ice 2015

At the very end of November, Tessa was invited to celebrate Anna's 10th birthday early with her by attending Disney on Ice. Angie let the girls play with her phone camera while waiting for the show to start. I love those two sweet and fun girls.

November 2015

Here is a picture of Jake's thigh. I don't know who took this picture, but since November is pretty sparse on the memory scale, we'll keep it.
Here's my Bubbo cleaning the tub. Dad got him started on helping with chores, and he's doing his best!

No idea on the next few. The one with Sadie and Paige look like they are at a church and have eaten candy. Hmm.

Cute Tessa carrying her brother.
 THANKSGIVING!!!
We had the Fitzgeralds over with Mom and Duke and had a nice time together. True to form, I had problems with the turkey and have turned that job over to Jake in the subsequent years. Everything else was awesome, though! I set up the other table for the adults and had Tessa decorate for the kids' table. As you can see, she did a beautiful job.

Halloween 2015: The Scooby Doo Gang

So far I've been lucky to have my kids be completely on board about a family costume. I'll take it while I can get it because it's a riot for me.
This year we were the Scooby Doo Gang and a couple of phantoms/crooks. Jake and I spent plenty of time saying, "And we would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids!"
Tessa was Daphne, Cole was Shaggy, Paige was Velma, Sadie was Scooby Doo, and Gavin was Fred.

My very sweet mom came over and stayed at our house to hand out treats so that both Jake and I could go out with the family. I'd not had the chance to do that before since I'm always the one to opt for that job. We had a great time and because our part of the neighborhood is still new and under construction and without a lot of trick or treaters, the houses that were open for business loaded the kids up with candy. The good stuff. We are hoping that as the neighborhood is completed that it will look like it does a couple of blocks over on Halloween --a happening place.
