Crockpots and I, to be honest, haven't had the best of relationships. I mean it's fun at first, and we get along for a while. But then it always ends badly. I like to say it's not me, it's them. Remember this one? Shortly after, I was lucky enough to receive a free one. This particular crockpot had a hairline fracture in the ceramic dish. As time went on, I pressed my luck. "One more dinner before this thing breaks in two!" It lasted.....just long enough for the silver and black beauty featured above to arrive.
So far, we're getting along swimmingly*. I have a feeling this relationship has lasting power.
*I have never, in fact, used the word "swimmingly" before now. I can see why.

Ahh, she's a beauty. My crockpot's my best friend:) Nothing like mindless cooking and extra time...kind of a no brainer! Here's to many delicious dinners! H
I LOVE crockpots! I just recently left mine in St. George! lame! We are trying to get it back, but I think I might just consider it a donation because I've had my eye on another one...it may possibly be the same one you have. It's awesome!!! Maybe Happy Mother's Day to me? Congrats on the new addition! Happy cooking!
I got a new crock pot recently too, because my old one had three settings; hot, hot and darn hot. So everything burned. Now that we have a decent one, I am a much happier person.
The bitty baby crock pot is a fun one for the holidays, because I put water and whole spices like cinnamon, clove, allspice and it makes a nice but strong potpourri.
Enjoy!
What a beauty! I remember the death of the old crockpot well-I hope this one lives for many years! ;)
I love that you used the word swimmingly, I think that's probably the first time I've ever used it too. Ü
