I didn't realize how much I missed you until I read your blog and I was lol-ing :-), because you sound exactly as I remember you, so cynical, smart, and hilarious. And yes, "definitely" bugs me, too. My big one, though, is canceled, because I spelled it "class cancelled" once when I was the secretary for the English department and Dave Lee gave me a bad time about it, and instead of being mad at myself I was mad at the dumb word that broke all the rules. And I still see it spelled that way everywhere, especially at airports. Ok, so just barely, in the middle of typing this, I looked it up, and the wikipedia site says every English-speaking country in the world except us gives it 2 Ls, and here it goes both ways. Take that, Dave! Wait, I think I just went on a tangent.
